Jeremiah 29.10 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future”.
God was speaking to the captives in Babylon through
his prophet Jeremiah. He has not forgotten his people. God is giving us the
same assurance today, emphasising that GOD is the ultimate source of both
prosperity and disaster.
